Have Rubber Boots, Will Travel

"Not all who wander are lost." ~J.R.R. Tolkien

After 19 years as a professional brewer, and nearly 17 years as Steelhead’s Brewmaster, it is time for me to move on.

With my beloved husband (Jon Graber)’s encouragement, I plan to follow the clouds of wort steam across the country, towing my camper behind me: “Have rubber boots, will travel.” (And brew!)

By visiting lots of breweries, I hope to make more brewing friends and contacts, and hopefully find a great new brewing job somewhere along the way. Besides, I haven't had a summer off since 1984.

Please drop me a line if you’d like me to visit you. I’d love to brew at lots of different breweries. (We could teach each other new brewing tricks!) I’d need a flat place to park overnight, with access to a shower: About 31 feet total for a 15.5 ft minivan towing a 14.75 ft camper. Your driveway or brewery parking lot could work. Anything free is appreciated, as I’ll be unemployed.

I’m not sure of my departure date or route, but I’ll be in Denver, June 18-23. Wisconsin and Michigan will be somewhere along the way. Probably arrive back in Oregon in September. Not sure of how far east I’ll get, but I’m open to invitations.

Cheers, Teri

P.S. Yes, this is an old picture of me in front of Triple Rock where I was Head Brewer 1989-90. This photo was taken in 1989 by my friend and fellow brewer, Grant Johnston.
